Development of a wayfinding system for the Reading University campus was one of the assignments during my Master’s degree programme in Reading.
Key aims of this project were: understanding how people navigate physical environments and how wayfinding information interacts with other
environmental factors to make a place legible. Students were asked to design a wayfinding system which could meet the needs of different users,
reinforce the environment’s visual brand and, where appropriate, encourage the use of ecologically friendly transport.
